{#-
  The names the node knows without asking anybody, out of `net.hosts`.

  This is not part of the core set and is not installed. `/etc/hosts` has no
  drop-in directory, so the whole file is the template -- including the two
  loopback lines, which are not optional and which nothing else would put back.
  A fleet that copies this owns the file from then on.

    net:
      hosts:
        - {ip: 10.0.0.1, names: [gateway, gw]}
        - {ip: 10.0.0.2, names: [db]}

  The first name on a line is the canonical one and the rest are aliases, which
  is why `names` is a list and its order is kept.
