Set a master PIN
It encrypts the identities you save. You'll enter it to unlock GP Client.
Unlock automatically
Save your PIN to the system keyring so GP Client opens without asking. You can turn this off anytime in Settings.
Your PIN is stored by your desktop's secure keyring (GNOME Keyring, KWallet, or COSMIC), protected by your login. Anyone who can already unlock your user session will be able to open the vault. Leave this off on shared machines.

Enter your master PIN to access your identities.
Reset GP Client? This permanently deletes every saved identity — they're encrypted with your PIN and can't be recovered without it. You'll set a new PIN and re-add your identities.
Backend service required
GP Client needs its privileged helper installed before it can bring up the VPN tunnel.
